Preston O’Brien, CPA – Owner & CEO
Preston O’Brien is a seasoned professional with a diverse background. After serving in the US Air Force as an officer and his transition to a civilian commercial airline pilot Captain, he earned a BBA in Accounting and became a CPA. He held executive positions at a major electric utility and a real estate development company, where he oversaw finance, operations, and significant growth initiatives. Now, as the owner of Iron Bison Homes, he is able to focus his diverse skill set on building exceptional homes. He combines his strategic leadership, financial acumen, and operational expertise to deliver high-quality, innovative homes that meet the needs of modern homeowners. His commitment to excellence, high character, a meticulous attention to detail and a priority for customer satisfaction drive every aspect of his leadership.
Jamie O’Brien – Chief Relations & Experience Officer
Jamie O’Brien serves as Chief Relations & Experience Officer, bringing her passion for people and a heartfelt commitment to creating experiences that are meaningful and memorable. She believes the spaces we inhabit—at work, within our communities, and especially in our homes—shape how we live, grow, serve, and thrive. With a background spanning leadership and business development, event planning, and interior design, Jamie brings a unique ability to pair thoughtful strategy with genuine care. In the homebuilding process, she is especially passionate about the Iron Bison Homes experience, believing a home should be more than a structure—it should be a safe haven of peace. Guided by her faith and a belief that how you treat people matters, Jamie is dedicated to cultivating relationships, clear communication, and experiences marked by integrity and intentionality.
Jeff Gent – Project Manager
Jeff Gent is an experienced Project Manager with more than 20 years in construction and homebuilding, guiding projects from the ground up with precision, clarity, and care. Known for strong scheduling, clear communication, deep construction knowledge, and effective problem-solving, Jeff brings a steady, confident approach to delivering high-quality homes on time. He understands that building a home is one of the most significant investments a family will make and prioritizes transparency and proactive communication so homeowners feel informed and supported throughout the process. A dedicated family man, Jeff values teamwork both on and off the job site, whether he’s coaching youth baseball, cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners, or following St. Louis Blues hockey. His commitment to excellence, paired with an approachable and trustworthy style, makes him a valued partner throughout the construction journey.
Lauren Slatten – Designer, Krem Interiors
Lauren Slatten is a Californian home-grown gal who is now raising her family with her husband in Norman, OK in what they like to call; from coast to prairie. She grew up off a country road in Santa Cruz where the redwoods meet the ocean. The natural beauty that surrounded her deeply impacted the way she saw and experienced life. This passion carried into Lauren’s adult years as interior design became a natural expression of what she held dear for so long; beauty, tranquility and peace. This is where Krem Interiors came to life. Lauren has a naturally relaxed approach to design with timeless intent inspired most by English country. With gratitude and honor, Lauren loves to be apart of an Iron Bison Homes client design story.
Angelika Viado – Accounting Specialist
Angelika Viado serves as Accounting Specialist and brings a strong foundation in construction-related accounting to her role. She began her career in the construction industry, supporting residential homes, school buildings, and office projects, where she gained an appreciation for how buildings come together—from careful planning and strong foundations to completed homes where people bring their vision to life. She later joined an accounting firm, continuing to grow her bookkeeping and accounting expertise. While her work focuses on the financial side of operations, Angelika finds fulfillment in supporting each project behind the scenes and contributing to Iron Bison Homes’ success through reliable financial stewardship, project after project.
